I know this doesn't necessarily fit this category, but I wasn't sure where to post it. How do you get a letter with a fada to come up on a U.S. computer? The other directions I've always seen never work on my computer or any other computer I have tried here. Can you help me out?

Dia Duit a Jason,

I have yet to install hardware on my computer but I did find this site that may help answer your questions

http://www.cs.umu.se/~hegner/Misc/Windowskb/index.html

Looks like a complicated process for novice computer users (I fit in that catagory). Let me know if this helps you accomplish your goal.

Slan, Pat

Dia dhuit
This worked for me and I know very little about computers.
Go to your control panel under the start menu, select date time language, Regional and language options, when little box pops up click languages, click details, click add, input language English(Ireland),click box on key board layout select Irish, then keep clicking OK till out of it. ON the very bottom of your screen there will be a little sign EN Click it then click English (Ireland)

Now to use fada press and hold ctrl and alt while you type the vowel áéíóú To get capital letters same thing but hold shift as well.ÁÉÍÓÚ
NOTE this will make your @ sign and " back wards. Hope this works for you.

Good on Ya Jodie Very Happy

Thats pretty much what the site I mentioned above described only you made it sound simpler. If you look close at the site it gives a keypad diagram , kind of like an "overlay" to help in finding the right keys for whatever your trying to do.
